Spring semester is over! One of the event we had this spring is the Southeastern Biogeochemistry Symposium. Jackie and Yohei had a chance to present at the second annual Southeastern Biogeochemistry Symposium here at Georgia Tech this March. Yohei gave an excellent talk about the climate change and future evolution of dissolved oxygen in the ocean. Jackie presented a poster on her thesis “Reconciling Diatom Productivity with Iron Flux in the Southern Ocean” and received second place in the poster competition! It was a wonderful opportunity to interact with our fellow graduate students and meet some new students and professors from nearby universities. She had finished her M.S. Thesis and graduated today! Congratulations!
